Founder/President

Carol Fitzgerald is co-Founder and President of The Book Report Network (TBRN) --- a group of Internet sites about books and authors that have become the gathering places for a large and devoted community of booklovers since 1996. Programming is organized by demographic at Bookreporter.com, 20SomethingReads.com, Teenreads.com and Kidsreads.com and by special interest at ReadingGroupGuides.com GraphicNovelReporter.com and FaithfulReader.com. Website visitors can  read reviews and author interviews, subscribe to newsletters and participate in interactive polls and contests. TBRN is recognized as an online leader of informed, contemporary book news, reviews, and author interviews.

The company's Authors on the Web division provides Website Design and Development and Internet Marketing/Publicity for authors and publishers. To date the Company has built websites for more than 225 authors and publishers and implemented Internet Marketing /Publicity programs for more than 300 titles.

Prior to founding TBRN, Fitzgerald spent 17 years at Conde Nast where she developed broad-based marketing, promotion and publicity programs. Fitzgerald has a B.A. in Communications from Fordham University



Editorial

Tom Donadio
Editorial Director

Tom Donadio, a graduate of Fordham University at Rose Hill, began working at The Book Report Network in 2002 as an Editorial intern and joined the company's editorial staff full time the following year. As Editorial Director, Tom assigns and edits all the reviews that appear on Bookreporter.com and FaithfulReader.com, and coordinates the content on ReadingGroupGuides.com. In addition, he prepares newsletter lineups for these three websites and oversees our interns, who help create such features as Coming Soon, Books on Screen and New in Paperback.

Liz Kossnar
Content Coordinator, Teenreads.com/Kidsreads.com

Liz Kossnar graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities, focusing on mythology, folklore and fairy tales. From there, she spent a year in France teaching English and then moved to New York City to attend the Columbia Publishing Course, a six-week intensive summer program covering all aspects of book, digital media and magazine publishing. Having interned at Albert Whitman & Company, Liz is delighted to be working on the Teenreads.com and Kidsreads.com sites. As Content Coordinator, she edits reviews, creates features, manages social media, interacts with our readers --- and more.

John Hogan
Editorial Director: GraphicNovelReporter.com

John Hogan is the former editor-in-chief of Pages magazine and has worked in the book industry, in one form or another, for nearly 15 years. He is also a freelance writer and reviewer. A native of Iowa, he grew up reading comics and graphic novels and continues to find them an exciting and mesmerizing format for storytelling. He can be reached at John@bookreporter.com.

Maureen Linehan
Content Coordinator: 20SomethingReads.com

Maureen Linehan earned her B.S. in Advertising from New York Institute of Technology in New York City. After completing internships in public relations, the travel industry and two internships in book publicity, she knew book publishing was where she wanted to be. Prior to working at The Book Report Network, Maureen wrote book reviews for Examiner.com, and was the Social Media Coordinator for a documentary film. At The Book Report Network, Maureen works on consumer surveys, research and publicity outreach efforts.



Advertising and Promotions

Greg Fitzgerald
Advertising Associate

Greg Fitzgerald is a graduate of Fordham University at Lincoln Center. He does event photography at author signings, conventions, and parties; In addition to his advertising and promotion tasks at TBRN, he oversees the company's accounting operation. He has worked for The Book Report Network since 2006, though he has been part of the TBRN family -- literally and figuratively -- since 1996. In his free time, Greg enjoys traveling; researching and enjoying lighthouses, ocean liners, and other maritime subjects; and geocaching.

Nicole Sherman
Advertising Assistant

Nicole Sherman works in the book world, with a particular interest in independent publishers and art books. A graduate from Bard College in upstate New York, she earned her degree in Literature and spent her senior year writing her thesis on Roberto Bolano's epic 2666. She began her publishing career in New York City, working retail at the Taschen store in Soho and interning at Phaidon Press in publicity and marketing. Before coming to The Book Report Network, she was Associate Publicist at the small, self-publisher Vantage Press. She now assumes the role as Advertising/Promotions assistant.

Alina Berganovsky
Advertising Assistant

Alina Berganovsky is currently pursuing a degree in English Literature from The College of New Jersey. She has interned at Skyhorse Publishing as well as The Book Report Network before moving into a part-time position with the company. Alina is excited to be a part of the Advertising/Promotions team, where she is in constant contact with the readers and publishers, manages social media, and more.



Website Design & Development

Eric Rhodes
Director of Website Design and Development

Eric Rhodes is a New York City graphic designer of the Bridge and Tunnel variety. He specializes in web design, semantic HTML/XHTML, CSS-driven layout, graphics and code optimization and search engine optimization.

Joshua Mallory
Website Client Relations Coordinator

After earning a B.A. in both English and Public Relations from the University of Alabama, Josh headed to New York to work in book publishing in 2008. He worked at LJK Literary Management first as an intern and then as Executive Assistant to the firm’s founder, Larry Kirshbaum. At The Book Report Network he liaises with clients, publishers and the in-house design and production teams to ensure that projects are effectively carried out.

Vicky Kariolic
Producer

Vicky Kariolic began writing HTML code on Notepad in 1997 for her personal webpage. Over the next 10 years, she worked intermittently on improving her knowledge of the web standards, adding XHTML and CSS to her knowledge base. When she joined the web development team in 2007, she realized there was a lot more to learn and enjoys her job as a producer of the editorial websites of The Book Report Network.



Internet Marketing/Publicity

Wiley Saichek
Marketing/Publicity Director

Wiley Saichek began working in the book industry while he was still a student, assisting novelists Chelsea Quinn Yarbro and Suzy McKee Charnas with online publicity projects, shelving books at a local used book store, moderating select Book Report Network chat rooms and message boards and interning at Tor Books. After graduating from the University of Houston-Victoria, Wiley joined The Book Report Network full-time and has worked in a number of capacities. He currently directs outreach campaigns and blog tours for the company's author and publisher clients.

Anne Staszalek
Marketing/Publicity Associate

Anne Staszalek has been dealing with the literary world for years. She spent 11 years in charge of programming at America Online's Literary community prior to joining The Book Report Network. As a Marketing/Publicity Associate, Anne works on outreach campaigns and blog tours for authors and publishers.
